The Josefina A. Ovalle Foundation for Education is a
501(c)3 Not-for-Profit Corporation committed to
increasing Latino high school and college graduation rates.

To date over $40,000 has been awarded in scholarships.

All proceeds of this event go to the JAO Scholarship Fund
Join us for food and fun before the game. Tailgate starts at 5:30!
10 children will have the opportunity to participate in the Tunnel of Fire!

Price is $100 and includes a goodie bag, 18 holes of golf, cart, lunch, refreshments
and dinner! Carriage Greens will donate a free round of golf to be used in the
future to all registered golfers.

It is the vision of the Josefina A. Ovalle Foundation for Education to build the confidence and determination of Latino youth by providing students with positive support and experiences through various post-secondary education planning opportunities. 

It is our mission to increase the number of Latino students attending college and completing college degrees.

The JAO Foundation would like to thank all those who attended and/or made donations for the 2012 JAO Scholarship Banquet and the Inaugural 2011 Golf Outing.  We had  successful and fun events.  We look forward to your participation in future events. 

Thank you to all of the presenters and volunteers who helped make the Illinois Youth College Prep Day: College Access for All on  Sat., Aug. 13, 2011 a success.  Over 100 students and parents attended workshops at the Illinois Institute of Technology to learn about H.S./college/career preparation and success.
